Avis Budget Group: Active in Our Communities

Avis Budget Group is committed to being a responsible member of the communities in which we operate. We support many worthy organizations and causes on a local and national basis as our limited resources permit.

Avis Rent A Car System, LLC is a national sponsor of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, providing both financial and in-kind support to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

Avis also supports the American Red Cross, providing financial contributions through fundraising activities for employees and customers.

Budget Rent A Car System, Inc. is a national sponsor of the Wounded Warrior Project®, a nonprofit organization that raises awareness and provides programs and services for injured U.S. service men and women. Budget is also a supporter of the United Negro College Fund.

In addition, Avis and Budget provide financial or in-kind support for national organizations that support healthcare research, minority education/economic development, and other travel-related support services.

Once the form is submitted, there is a 4 – 6 week turnaround time for a reply. Donation requests may also be submitted in writing. Requests are reviewed on the first of each month.

Monetary contributions range from $100 to approximately $5,000 (on-going sponsorships higher than that) depending on the type of request/sponsorship, i.e., donation to charity, journal ads. In-kind donations range from daily complimentary rentals to 3-day weekend rental certificates to weekly rentals. Travel vouchers are $50, $100, $250 or $350 and given to organizations for raffle prizes in auctions.
